Suicide Prevention: Springfield Officials Offer Solutions Amid Rising Concerns

Nearly 17 percent of Greene County students grades six-12 considered attempting suicide within the past year. That’s according to a student survey conducted by Missouri Department of Mental Health. And officials say the threat of suicide has been on the rise. This is the final day of the Democratic National Convention. KSMU's Missy SHelton is in Boston covering the Missouri Delegates. This morning, they got to hear from several high-profile speakers.
