The Springfield Chamber Chorus is a highly-select independent community choir specializing in the performance of a cappella choral literature, both sacred and secular. The Chorus is comprised of post-collegiate singers from the greater Springfield area; all their concerts are free and open to the public. Messiah Project presents their annual December concert "The Miracle of Christmas" in venues all over Missouri next week. It includes a complete staged performance of Gian-Carlo Menotti's Christmas opera "Amahl and the Night Visitors,' plus "Christmas Around the World" with the Forum Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra of Krakow, Poland. St Johns Children's Hospital

More families in the Ozarks will receive assistance this holiday season thanks to the efforts of St. John’s Clinic. Employees of the clinic raised more than $75,000 for charities that work in Greene, Webster, and Christian Counties, as well as organizations in Springfield, Joplin, Rolla, and Berryville, Arkansas. KSMU’s Missy Shelton reports.
