A federal grant of $12 millionis still available for Missouri residents who were affected by the natural disasters of 2008. KSMU's Adam Hammons reports.
That year, the Show-Me State experienced an ice storm, as well as flooding and tornadoes.
Residents can apply for the money if there are still repairs that need to be done due to the disasters.
According to the State Office of Emergency Management, all of the money must be spent for these families only, and used up before December 31 of this year.
Anyone who still has damage from the 2008 natural disasters can call 573-526-9233 to get in touch with a local contact.
