Court Appointed Special Advocates awarded the 2005 Missouri CASA Volunteer of the Year to Greene County volunteer Carrie Beason. KSMU's Christy Hendricks reports.
Carrie Beason received the 2005 Missouri CASA Volunteer of the Year in September.
She says there is a need for more child advocates in Greene County.
Dan Prater is the Communications Director for CASA.
He says Beason was selected from thousands of CASA volunteers across the state of Missouri.
Beason has been a CASA volunteer for five years.
