The Springfield Shakespeare Festival announces its 2nd season with a production of William Shakepeare's "Much Ado About Nothing" in Jordan Valley Park, May 27- June 7 Wednesday through Sunday at 8:15 pm with a preshow begninning at 7 pm. This production is FREE, with donations being accepted. Directed by Jeff Jenkins and featuring some of Springfield's best talent, "Much Ado About Nothing" is presented in part by The Skinny Improv, Swan Repertory Theatre Company, The Springfield Greene-County Park Board, KY3, The Springfield Regional Arts Council and Midwest Family Broadcasting. And they're seeking pre-show talent--prior to showtime each night, the Skinny Improv and Swan Rep are looking for local talent of all kinds to take part in the festival's pre-show.
