The 10 Weeks Festival is part of the "Arts in Action" initiative, an effort led by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks to help sustain the arts in our community. It brings Springfield's diverse cultural offerings under one brand to raise money for arts in education, as well as basic needs for children in Springfield Public Schools. When you attend any of the more than 100 already-scheduled events during the 10 Weeks Festival, you'll be asked to donate $1 or more. All donated funds will raise money for the Arts in Education Endowment at the Community Foundation, established to provide funds to area arts organizations to take their programs into area schools; and the "Care to Learn Fund", which helps meet basic needs of local school children in areas such as health, hygiene and hunger.
