Celebrate old-time music and the unique culture of the Ozarks at the 16th annual Old-Time Music, Ozark Heritage Festival Friday & Saturday June 18th and 19th in and around the West Plains Civic Center. This free two-day event features musicians, artisans and storytellers from various regions of the Ozarks, as well as the annual Fiddler’s Frolic, the Bob Holt National Old-Time Jig Dance competition, a cooking stage, mule jumping competitions, an exhibit of photography by Charles Elliott Gill, and much more. This year’s musical headliners include Jay Farrar from St.Louis; Bob Wills’ Texas Playboys, traditional musicians from the Sundance-winning locally produced feature film “Winter’s Bone,” and The Gordons.
