Absentee voting is now underway for the April 3rd election in Greene County. KSMU’s Melanie Foehrweiser has more.
According to a release from the Greene County clerk’s office, the upcoming ballot includes a sales tax increase to fund law enforcement priorities, candidates for the Ozarks Technical Community College board, and city, school, and fire issues and candidates in some cities and districts. Absentee ballots may be filled out in the clerk’s office in the Greene County Courthouse from 8am until 4:45pm Monday through Friday until the day before the election. Requests for an absentee ballot by mail must be signed and received by the clerk’s office by 5pm on March 28th. For more information, call County Clerk Richard Struckoff at 868-4060.
