Ang Lee's "Ride With The Devil" screens at MSU Jan.28

Missouri State University will screen Ang Lee's film, "Ride with the Devil" at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 28 in the Plaster Student Union Theatre at MSU. This civil war film, shot in Missouri, stars Tobey Maguire. Two of the crew who worked on the film, Kenny Chaplin and Gary Fiorelli, will be here for a discussion session at 9:00pm following the showing of the film. It's free and open to the public as part of the university's ongoing film series. The next day, Saturday Jan.29, Production Assistant Training Seminar will be held from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Craig Hall 203. The seminar is designed to prepare people for work as a production assistant on a feature film or commercial production. MSU students can sign up for the seminar for $75. Costs for early bird enrollment is $115, and for anyone who is a member of a professional film association cost is $125. Cost for the general public is $150.
