The Springfield Regional Arts Council offers its next Free Art Day featuring hands-on art activities for the whole family on Saturday, April 24 from 10 a.m. - Noon at The Creamery Arts Center. No registration is required and everyone is invited to participate regardless of age or skill. Activities will include making a bird house, Cinco de Mayo Mexican yarn crafts and flag-making, which will become part of the features area at Artsfest on Historic Walnut Street the first weekend of May. There will also be a story time with the Springfield-Greene County Library.
