Big Bend National Park

Submitted by Phillip Stoke of Springfield

I spent seven days in Big Bend National Park this last winter. It is an awesome place. It is very barren but beautiful and teaming with wildlife. There were deer and roadrunners that came into the camp grounds several times. It is a great place for hiking and, if you have a four-wheel drive vehicle, there are some rugged back roads that are interesting. I took about 500 digital photos, so it was hard to pick out just a few.
