Anyone who lives within the Branson city limits is about to get a call from an automated machine. KSMU’s Royal Yates has details.
The city of Branson will begin using a new weather warning system next week called CodeRED.
According to Branson Fire & Rescue, CodeRED will begin calling all residents of Branson early next week to promote the new systems and advise them on how to opt into the weather warnings via phone call or text message. These initial automated calls will mostly take place in the evenings and will continue through the week until the entire database has been attempted.
The service is only available to Branson residents who live within the city limits.
