A restaurant at College of the Ozarks has been recognized by the online travel site TripAdvisor for its excellence. KSMU’s Jennifer Davidson has more on what some online reviewers are calling Branson’s “Best Kept Secret.”
Between an ornate copper ceiling and rustic, hardwood floors, diners at the Dobyns Dining Room in C of O’s Keeter Center are treated to a blend of elegance and rustic log cabin. Glass windows open up to a patio overlooking the campus, and black and white Holstein cows grazing in a field. The restaurant is open to the public, and it’s run by students, under the guidance of professionals.
Dobyns Dining Room has just been awarded the TripAdvisor 2013 Certificate of Excellence. According to a release from the college, this award is given to businesses that consistently earn high ratings from TripAdvisor travelers.
Www.TripAdvisor.com allows travelers to leave feedback about places they’ve visited. And if you go to TripAdvisor right now, you’ll find 302 reviews on Dobyns Dining Room…with most of them rating it five stars.
Dobyns Dining Room also uses fresh vegetables from C of O’s college garden, and on the weekends, music students perform live. The restaurant is open from 10:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Sundays.
