At Leadership Springfield's annual meeting in June, Brent Dunn, director of athletics department at SMS, received the o. Franklin Kenworthy award for outstanding leadership.
The award is named for Kenworthy who died in a car/pedestrian accident. He was dean of the SMS College of Arts and Letters and a graduate of Leadership Springfield. Dunn explains how he felt about winning the award.
