Brentwood Christian Church will celebrate its 50th Anniversary with a variety of events and activities, the highlight of which will be a special 50th Anniversary concert on Sunday October 3rd at 6:30pm featuring TV personality and recording artist Laura Hall along with her actor husband, Rick. Laura Hall is probably best known as the improvisational pianist on Drew Carey’s "Whose Line Is it Anyway?", but she is also a successful recording artist and composer. Her husband Rick has been a regular on such TV shows as "Curb Your Enthusiasm", "Seinfeld," "Saving Grace" and "24," as well as numerous theatrical films. The concert will also feature the talents of Brentwood Christian’s Associate Minister, Emily Bowen, who is currently performing the role of Grizabella in Springfield Little Theatre’s production of "Cats," along with well-known local pianist, Harry Beckett. The ticket price of $10 will help cover the cost of the concert. Kids 18 and under are admitted free. Tickets can be purchased in advance from the church office at 1900 E. Barataria.
