Tonight, freelance writer and author Mark Braund will speak in Springfield on the topic of economic injustice, and extending the American dream to all citizens worldwide. KSMU's Jennifer Moore reports.
Braund is visiting from London, and will be speaking at Missouri State University.
He says the American dream is alive, but it’s not a reality for everyone, due to poverty. Braund says one of the effects of poverty not often thought about is how it impacts the environment.
Tonight’s lecture begins at 7:00 in Glass Hall Room 101 on the MSU campus.
