The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks has a new chief executive officer. Anthony Roberts, who served as senior director of quality insurance for the CBCO, was selected by an executive search committee.
Roberts will succeed Don Thomson who has served as the blood center’s CEO since it formed in 1995. Thomson plans to retire in June.
Roberts retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons in 2011 where he served as health services administrator for the US Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield.
