The department of communication sciences and disorders at Missouri State University is hosting a 40th anniversary celebration and class reunion for the Missouri State speech-language and hearing program at 6 p.m. May 8 at Hickory Hills Country Club. The event will include a cocktail hour, silent auction, dinner, live auction and entertainment from cruise line comedian John Pinney.
“It is our goal to endow the department’s scholarships with the proceeds from this event,” said Dr. Neil DiSarno, head of the department of communication sciences and disorders.
The live auction proceeds will support the Dr. Herbert J. Arkebauer Scholarship and the Laurabeth Windham Scholarship Endowment Fund. Ticket prices for the event are $40 a person, with other sponsorship levels available. Dress is semi-formal.
For more information about the event or to purchase a ticket, contact Laura Campos, graduate assistant, at campos525 [at] missouristate [dot] edu or the department office at 836-5368.
