Center City Saturday Dec.18

Enjoy "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," make a personalized ornament & enjoy live holiday music during Center City Saturday Dec. 18, presented in the downtown arts district by the galleries of First Friday Art Walk--it's free and open to the public. Among the highlights are a FREE showing of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" at 10 a.m. at Hollywood Theaters; a 10:00am storytime followed by family films and live holiday music by "A Matter of Style" Saturday afternoon at Park Central Branch Library. You can make a free handpainted, personalized ornament with artist Jesse Stone at Good Girl Art Gallery, 325 E. Walnut Suite 101 from 1 to 4pm; and watch the artists at Springfield Hot Glass Studio give live glassblowing demonstrations. And you can go on your own mini-Art Walk, as the First Friday exhibits remain up all month long. Center City Saturday is presented the third Saturday of each month by members of First Friday Art Walk and the Downtown Springfield Association. For more information visit www.ffaw.org or the Art Walk page on Facebook.
