Join the Missouri State University College of Arts and Letter for an "Artistic Jazz Experience" to benefit the new MSU Jazz Studies Program. The date is Saturday Oct.16 at 7:00pm in the Crystal Ballroom of Kentwood Hall, 700 E. St. Louis Street. The evening is hosted by Caduceus: The Doctors Band, and features legendary jazz bassist, multi-Grammy winner and Southwest Missouri native Charlie Haden. The cost is $75 per person, which includes "heavy" hors d'oeuvres and one complimentary drink.
