Children’s Choirs of Southwest Missouri will present their "Spring Serenade" concert on Saturday, April 17 at 7:00pm at the Gillioz Theatre, with a pre-concert show at 6:25. The 150 members of the seven graded choirs, ranging in age from six to eighteen years old, will welcome Spring with an array of American fiddle tunes, play party songs, hymns and gospel songs, as well as classics by Beethoven and Pachebel, and sentimental pop favorites such as "That’s Amore" and "I Left My Heart In San Francisco." The rousing grand finale which will incorporate eight American folk songs, with dancing, fiddles, flutes, banjo and trumpet. Tickets will be available at the door. The Children's Choirs' annual spring fundraiser will be held in conjunction with the concert.
