The Broadway series at the Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts presents a new musical version of Laura Ingalls Wilder's "Little House on the Prairie," with Melissa Gilbert as Ma Ingalls, Nov.6-8. Gilbert played Laura herself for a decade on the much-loved TV series. This musical treatment brings to life the stories of the Ingalls family's struggles and triumphs through the celebration of the pioneering spirit that resonates within all Americans. Performances are Friday Nov.6 at 8pm; Saturday the 7th at 2 and 8pm; and Sunday Nov.8 at 2:00pm at Hammons Hall. Then on Wednesday Nov.11 at 7:30pm, the next Don Wessel Emerging Concert Artists recital, featuring young Swiss pianist Louis Schwizgebel-Wang. A meet-the-artist reception follows the performance.
