Coming to the Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts: Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright William Inge’s "Bus Stop," a warm and affecting comedy that examines some of the many faces of love. As down-home characters interact in a street corner restaurant during the course of a turbulent night, extraordinary qualities are revealed in seemingly ordinary people. There's a single performance of "Bus Stop" Thursday Feb.24 at 7:30pm, with an introduction to the performance at 6:45pm by MSU Associate Professor of Theatre Dr.Christopher Herr. The following Thursday, March 3rd at 7:30pm, Hammons Hall presents one of the legendary blues-rock acts for more than 40 years, Hot Tuna with Rock'n'Roll Hall of Famers Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady joined by blues harmonica icon Charlie Musselwhite and 2-time Grammy winner Jim Lauderdale, for an evening of blues, jazz and bluegrass.
