The public is invited to a special holiday celebration in song performed by local churches on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of the Council of Churches of the Ozarks. The concert will take place in Stone Chapel at Drury University, 900 North Benton Avenue, on Sunday December 20th at 7:00 pm. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted during the service, with all proceeds supporting the work of the Council of Churches of the Ozarks. Featured vocalists include Rev. Emily Bowen, mezzo soprano; Edward Christiansen, tenor; and Sarah Hover, soprano. Also appearing: combined adult and children's choirs from Brentwood Christian and National Avenue Christian Churches, with accompaniment by area professional musicians directed by Kevin Williams.
