The Creamery Writers’ Workshop will feature guest speaker Larry Cunningham at their next meeting on Thursday, January 27 from 7-8:30 p.m at The Creamery Arts Center. The topic of discussion will be creative editing for every writer. Retired Marine Lt.Colonel Larry Cunningham has been a cattle rancher, high school music teacher, runner, writer, and voracious reader. He's given many poetry readings and writing presentations at various conferences. Cunningham writes fictions, essays, articles and poetry; he's currently president of the Springfield Writers Guild. The Creamery Writers' Workshop is an outreach program of the Springfield Regional Arts Council and is free and open to all writers, regardless of age or genre. No registration is required. The group meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month from 7 to 8:30 pm in The Creamery Arts Center at 411 N. Sherman Parkway, across from Hammons Field.
