CU Board Narrows General Manager Search Down to Three Candidates

Three finalists have been chosen for the position of General Manager of City Utilities. According to the Board of Public Utilities, they are: Scott Miller who is currently associate general manager-electric supply for City Utilities, Herman Morris, Jr., current city attorney in Memphis, Tennessee and former president of Memphis Light, Gas and Water and Wade Stinson, associate general manager-operations for City Utilities. Final interviews are scheduled for the week of April 25th. Dates and times will be announced later this week for the public and CU employees to meet the candidates.The CU board has set a target date of early May to announce the replacement for current General Manager John Twitty who will retire in June.More than 100 applications for his position were submitted during a nationwide search.
