When the economy goes down, more people seek to get their degrees in a relatively short period of time to save both time and money. Now you can get your MBA in one year at Drury University. KSMU’s Alvin Chen reports.
Drury will start offering a fast track MBA program beginning in the fall of 2009. Dr. John Taylor, Drury’s MBA Director, says there’s an increased demand on the MBA program at Drury University.
Taylor says the fast track MBA program is designed for mainly two target groups.
According to Taylor, some highlights of the fast track MBA include a mentorship program that offers opportunities for students to network with professionals from the Springfield business community, and a curriculum that requires students to work together with a cohort of peers to complete the program.
The prerequisites for the fast track MBA are identical for the traditional program. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and will be evaluated on things like grade point average, test scores and letters of recommendation.
