The Drury University Theatre Department opens its 2010-2011 season with Harold Pinter's "The Birthday Party", directed by George Cron. Performances in the Studio Theatre (Springfield Hall, 2nd floor) will run Wed-Fri Oct.6-8 at 8:00pm and Saturday Oct.9 at 2:00 and 8:00pm. Stanley, a man with a mysterious past lives in a rundown boarding house in an English seaside town. Two sinister strangers arrive and turn Stanley’s birthday party into a nightmare. This play is intended for mature audiences. Tickets are $10 general admission, $5 senior citizens and students.
