June 1st 2005, a new President takes over at Drury University in Springfield Missouri. Mike Smith has the story:
At a Friday May 13th news conference, Drury University's 15 President was announced. John Sellars was chosen by the Drury University Board of Trustees to replace John Moore who will retire May 31st after 22 years at Drury's helm.
Sellars, a Senior Vice President for Advancement at Syracuse University, says he's eager to put his skills as a fundraiser to use for Drury.
John Sellars, one of 3 finalists in the SMSU Presidential search, was also one of 3 finalists for the job at Drury.
Initially, there were 80 candidates for the position.
