Springfield Regional Arts Council presents their "Free Art Day", featuring hands-on art activities for the whole family, Saturday June 26 from 10am to noon in the Creamery Arts Center, 411 Sherman Parkway across from Hammons Field. Craft projects include making a lightning-bug pin, a bird buddy, a bloom of fireworks, and creating a summer journal. There will also be story time with Springfield-Greene County Library. The first 100 children at Free Art Day will receive a free pass to Dickerson Park Zoo's "Art Gone Wild" that same day, June 26, from noon to 4:00pm.
