Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will hold a rally Friday morning in Springfield . KSMU’s Ryan Farmer reports.
The event will take place in McDonald Arena with doors opening at 9 a.m., and the rally beginning at 11.
Tickets were available this morning at the Greene County Republican headquarters, but in less than two hours, they were quickly snatched up by eager supporters.
Local supporter Roger Olivea took his whole family out to stand in line this morning in hopes of getting tickets for the rally.
The McCain campaign says Governor Palin will be addressing Senator McCain’s plans for the economy, as well as foreign policy issues.
Palin’s visit comes two weeks after her Democratic counterpart, Senator Joe Biden, held a rally in downtown Springfield. For KSMU News, I'm Ryan Farmer.
