Lack of Unstructured Play is Harmful to Kids

In today’s fast paced world, it’s easy to become over committed. It’s also easy for kids’ lives to become so scheduled that there is little time left for unstructured play. Dr. Joanna Cemore-Brigden, associate professor of childhood education and family studies, specializes in research on children’s play. She said there are many reasons have less time to just play.
