The medicaid commission met for the first time today. As KSMU's Missy Shelton reports, the commission is looking for ways to change Medicaid.
The 10-member, bi-partisan commission charged with looking at ways to change the state's Medicaid system held its first meeting today.
This past session, lawmakers approved a bill that reduces the Medicaid roles by nearly 10 percent.
Those cuts take effect Friday.
Republican Representative Jodi Stefanick was a lead sponsor of the bill that made the cuts
