Missouri State University celebrates the countries of more than 500 international students during International Education Week. KSMU's Christy Hendricks has the story.
International Education Week continues this week at Missouri State University.
The week serves to promote awareness of the 90 countries from which international students studying at Missouri State are from.
Lisa Gibson is the assistant director of International Student Services which sponsors the week.
She says International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education.
One of the activities this week is an auction that sells handicrafts from other countries called Ten Thousand Villages.
Those items will be on sale this week at Plaster Student Union.
