More Snow May Hit Springfield Wednesday

The Springfield area may be seeing some more snow by tomorrow afternoon. KSMU’s Jamie Givens reports.

Megan Terri is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service. She says a cold front is expected to reach the Springfield area around noon.
"Out of the front, we do expect light rainshowers to develop and then persist through much of the afternoon. Now getting into late afternoon, especially north and west of Springfield, we do expect to see the transition, a mix with or change to snow," Terri said.
Terri does not anticipate much accumulation and says the precipitation is expected to end by midnight Wednesday.
As far as any chance for ice, Terri says it is unlikely. For KSMU News, I'm Jamie Givens.
