The Missouri State University Symphony Orchestra directed by Dr. Robert Quebbeman will perform Tuesday Sept.28 at 7:30pm in the Juanita K. Hammons Hall. The program includes a concerto for two oboes by Albinoni, played by MSU oboe professor Dr. Cynthia Green Libby, and the new head of the MSU Music Department, Dr. Julia Combs, who’s also an oboist. Also: Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol and the Rhenish Symphony, No.3 by Schumann. It’s free and open to the public--no tickets or reservations required.
