The Springfield Regional Opera Guild's annual Garden Tour is scheduled for Sunday June 28 from 10am to 6pm featuring 12 local gardens, two parks, and Garden Adventures in Nixa. The tour starts at 4526 E. Fox Run in Springfield's Pearsons Meadows subdivision east of highway 65, and includes gardens in Highlandville, Ozark and Republic. Local artists will be at each location giving live demonstrations as well as refreshments at each garden. Several locations will feature live performances by local musicians, the Missouri Poetry Society and the L.I.F.E. Organ Players. Tickets are available for a $10 donation at the first garden location day of the tour, or at Global Fayre, 324 Campbell. Kids under age 10 will be admitted free.
