Ozarks Technical Community College and Missouri State University reached an agreement today that officials from both schools say will benefit many students in the future. KSMU’s Nathan McVay reports.
Students enrolled in Ozarks Technical Community College’s Honors Program will now be eligible for acceptance into the Honors College at Missouri State.
The presidents of both universities signed the agreement meant to encourage students to strive for academic excellence.
Joel Doepker is the director of Public Relations and Communications for OTC. He says the colleges working together will help students in many ways.
“It’s a very prestigious program to get into so it will definitely benefit them in their educational road and their job career,”
