For nineteen years the Ozark Mountain Players in Mansfield, Missouri have produced annual pageants about pioneer life, and specifically dealing with the stories of Laura Ingalls Wilder. "Laura's Memories" brings to life the stories of Laura Ingalls Wilder that have touched the hearts of people around the world. Come back in time to September 28, 1951, as the city of Mansfield honors Mrs. Wilder by naming its library after her. Performances of "Laura's Memories" take place in Mansfield's Amphitheatre in the Mansfield Recreation Park Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm through September 19. That day, Sept.19, the Players offer their only daytime matinee performance of the season at 3:00pm. Tickets are $7 for anyone 12 and over; $3 for ages 5 to 11; and under age 5 get in free.
