Ozarks Transportation Organization Asks for Public Comment on Planning Program

The Program offers suggestions for the city's transportation networks

The Ozarks Transportation Organization, or OTO, is asking for public comments about its Unified Planning Program for fiscal year 2013. KSMU’s Brittany Donnellan explains.

The OTO is a federally-funded organization that serves as a forum for review, comments, and recommendations for the city’s transportation network.

Sara Fields is the executive director of the OTO and explains the purpose of the Unified Planning Program.

“That’s our annual budget and work program, so it outlines the tasks that we will undertake during the year, the plans that we’ll do and the project programming activities we will do.”

The public comment period will close on May 24. For more information, visit www.ozarkstransportation.org.

For KSMU News, I’m Brittany Donnellan.
