Public Affairs Conference Brings Six Plenary Speakers to Missouri State

Cultural competence, ethical leadership and community engagement - these are the cornerstones of the public affairs mission at Missouri State University. The 2010 Public Affairs Conference, "The New Economy: Peril and Promise," will be held April 13-16 on the Missouri State campus, and Dr. Mahua Mitra, conference chair and economics professor, invites the community to be involved in this special event. A unique kick-off will be held on April 7 in the Plaster Student Union Theater. All events associated with the conference are free and open to the public.
