"With this storm system as a whole winds will probably be the most noteworthy effect. The National Weather Service will issue warnings based upon any storm expected to produce winds of at least 58 mph, so winds of that strength will certainly cause some wind damage across the area."
A new band of storms is expected to move into Missouri from Kansas in the early afternoon. Runnels expects the rain to be out of our area by mid to late afternoon.Temperatures will be cooler because of the cold front. They’ll be in the 60s over the weekend. According to Runnels, the next chance for storms is Sunday night.
