The Kraft Family Series at Springfield Little Theatre presents "Pinocchio" March 4-14 at the Landers Theatre, 311 E. Walnut, based on Carlo COllodi's famous story of Geppetto, a gentle woodcarver, who carves a marionette to be his substitute son. A good fairy brings the toy to life... yet he is not a human boy. He must earn the right to be real by proving that he is brave, truthful and unselfish. Even with the help of Jiminy Cricket, Pinocchio gets into trouble. Yet, when he discovers that Geppeto has been swallowed by a whale, he selflessly risks his life to save his father.
