The Springfield Public School district is seeking the community’s help in choosing a new superintendent. KSMU’s Jennifer Davidson has details.
Since Norm Ridder announced this is his last year as superintendent,Springfield Public Schools has hired executive search firm McPherson & Jacobson to lead the search for his replacement.
The firm will host a total of 17 input sessions November 18 and 19 for different groups, including parents, students, community members, SPS employees, and union representatives.
Six of those 17 input meetings will be just for parents, students and community members.
The school district is asking those who have a stake in the process to attend one of the meetings. There, you can share what you would like to see in the next superintendent.
To see a complete schedule of those meetings, which, again take place November 18 and 19, you can click here. Below are the details for the six input meetings for students, parents, and community members.
