In the great tradition of the classic Bob Hope USO shows, SRO Lyric Theatre will salute the troops this year as part of their annual fundraising Gala at Hickory Hills Country Club on Friday Oct.29th. Entertainment for the evening will feature Les Brown Jr. & His Band of Renown and vocalist Deana Martin, daughter of legendary entertainer, Dean Martin. The event is a 1940’s-themedparty with dinner and dancing to the great sounds of swing and big band music. The evening will include a special appearance by the Armed forces Color Guard and the MSU marching band. The evening is a tribute to all honored veterans of war, and all the men and women currently serving in the armed forces. Salute the Troops, A USO Celebration will begin at 6:30p on Friday, October 29 at Hickory Hills Country Club.
