University Raises $21 Million from Grants

Despite a sluggish economy, Missouri State University received 196 grants in Fiscal Year 2009. The grants generated $20,901,035 in additional resources for the university, according to the office of sponsored research and programs. The 196 grants represent an increase of 18 percent over last year’s awards.
