Find out what's happening over the Memorial Day weekend in the Ozarks
  • The National Street Rod Association Mid-America Street Rod Nationals Plus will be at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds today through Sunday (5/24-26).  Get an up-close look at street rods and other specialty automobiles.   • Kids three to six-years-old are invited to the Little Acorns program “Bigmouth Bullfrogs” today (5/24) at 1:30 and tomorrow (5/25) at 11 at the Springfield Conservation Nature Center.  To register, 888-4237.
  • The Library Station invites kids of all ages to “Archaeologist Training” tomorrow morning (5/25) at 11.  Hear dinosaur tales, learn archaeological tips and take part in an excavation.  To learn more, 865-1340.
