  • Learn about Wind Farms on the Farm during Geography Awareness Week today (11/20) at 2 in Temple Hall room 3.
  • Adults are invited to see the film “The Pink Panther 2” tonight (11/20) at 6:30 at the Library Station.
  • If you’re looking for something to do with the kids today, head over to the Springfield Conservation Nature Center for the Winter Wildlife Survivors Puppet Show. There are two shows—at 11 and 1. You need to register first by calling 888-4237.
  • Learn to identify trees in the winter tomorrow morning (11/21) at 9 at the Nature Center. Registration is required.
  • Another Nature Center program that requires registration is an Advanced Nature Photography course tomorrow morning (11/21) from 9 to noon.
  • The 6th annual Native American Heritage Month Powwow is this weekend in Missouri State University’s McDonald Arena. The two-day festival includes singing, dancing and arts and craft vendors and more. Doors open at 9 each morning. For more information, http://multicultural.missouristate.edu.

  • Put on your cowboy boots and help raise money for the Boys and Girls Club of the Ozarks. The 11th annual Jingle Bell Gala with the theme “A Wild, Wild West Christmas” gets underway tomorrow night (11/21) at 6 at Chateau on the Lake.
