  • Halloween Happening “A Glitch in the Niche” is tonight (10/23) from 6:30 to 9:30 at the Springfield Conservation Nature Center. Go on a guided hike and enjoy indoor activities. For more information, 888-4237.
  • Halloween Spooktacular starts tonight (10/22) and runs thru October 31st from 6:30 to 9 each evening at Dickerson Park Zoo. For more information, 833-1570.
  • The Missouri State field hockey team will take on Ball State today (10/22) at 1 and Sunday (10/24) at noon at Plaster Sports Complex.
  • The Missouri State women’s Soccer team will host Creighton tonight (10/22) at 7 at Plaster Sports Complex.
  • The Park Central Branch Library’s Animated Film Series continues tonight (10/22). The film Ponyo, rated G, will be shown at 7.
  • The Rutledge-Wilson Community Farm Park is offering hay rides, a pumpkin patch and a corn maze each weekend in October. Hours are Friday 5 to 10 pm and Saturday and Sunday noon to 10 pm. For more information, www.parkboard.org.
