The National Gold Medal Award-winning bluegrass band Lost Hill, in conjunction with the Springfield-Greene County Park Board, will host a bluegrass festival Saturday Dec.4th at the new North View Center in Doling Park, 301 E. Talmage starting at 12 noon and running all day. Participating bands, in addition to Lost Hill, will include Brightwater Junction, Wires and Wood, Lonesome Road, Big Creek, Timberline, the Millers, Flatcreek Bluegrass and the Missouri Mountain Gang. This is one of a series of concerts to raise funds for the proposed “Miracle Field” to be built in Dan Kinney Park in Springfield, to provide an accessible ball field to players with a variety of disabilities. This will be the first Paralympic Sport Club in the area. The all-day event Saturday will cost $10 admission, with kids 12 and under admitted free; there will be food and refreshments available, along with drawings and raffles.
